Instructions
Fill disposable bowls with bubble solution and a bit of extra dish soap.
- Add powdered dye to the bowl and mix gently using a straw. Use separate straws for each color.
- Dampen mask with the mist of a spray bottle.
- With the straw in the bubble-solution bowl, blow through the top of the straw to create a dome of bubbles.
- Gently lay one area of the mask over the bubble dome and watch the mask pick up the bubble rings as they pop.
- Repeat with as many colors as desired.
- Dip the mask straps into any color/s of your choice.
- Follow package instructions on how to set the dye.
General Tips
-Bubble Tie-Dye is best done outdoors on a flat surface.
-To protect your work surface, cover it with a drop cloth or disposable tablecloth.
-Wear junky clothes because the dye is permanent.
-Wear disposable gloves. If the dye gets on your skin, it takes a few days and many washings for it to come off.
-Before starting, spray your item with some water using the mist setting on a spray bottle.
