Instructions

Fill disposable bowls with bubble solution and a bit of extra dish soap.

  1. Add powdered dye to the bowl and mix gently using a straw. Use separate straws for each color.
  2. Dampen mask with the mist of a spray bottle.
  3. With the straw in the bubble-solution bowl, blow through the top of the straw to create a dome of bubbles.
  4. Gently lay one area of the mask over the bubble dome and watch the mask pick up the bubble rings as they pop.
  5. Repeat with as many colors as desired.
  6. Dip the mask straps into any color/s of your choice.
  7. Follow package instructions on how to set the dye.

General Tips

-Bubble Tie-Dye is best done outdoors on a flat surface.

-To protect your work surface, cover it with a drop cloth or disposable tablecloth.

-Wear junky clothes because the dye is permanent.

-Wear disposable gloves. If the dye gets on your skin, it takes a few days and many washings for it to come off.

-Before starting, spray your item with some water using the mist setting on a spray bottle.
